JOHN CIPOLLA ATTEMPTED TO
RIDE AWAY AFTER BEING HARASSED
The statement repeated below from the CCSO report is a fabrication and a bold-faced lie because on June 26, 2017 GoPro video proved it was John Cipolla who passed Bailey and Latshaw. In addition, Garmin speed data posted on Strava by Ken Bailey proved John Cipolla was traveling faster than Kenneth Bailey and Paul Latshaw when trying to escape to safety. Data posted publicly on Strava proved that after passing Bailey and Latshaw, John Cipolla's average speed to North Citrus Springs Blvd was 21.7 mph compared to Ken Bailey's average speed of only 19.9 mph. Then, Garmin speed data posted on Strava proved John Cipolla maintained an average speed of 23.7 mph to Country Club Blvd compared to Kenneth Bailey's average speed of only 22.6 mph. Finally, to avoid a confrontation, John Cipolla came to a complete stop at Country Club Blvd where Kenneth Bailey continued riding but Paul Latshaw stopped on the opposite side of the intersection and yelled, "We got a gun, man" and "I'm going to put a bullet in your ass". Contrary to the following false statement in the biased CCSO report it was actually Bailey and Latshaw who were angry about being passed by John Cipolla while bicycle riding the Withlacoochee State Trail.
